Moyer’s “horseless carriage” manufacturing company faced closure as it struggled to adapt to the burgeoning era of assembly-line automobile manufacturing. This was also a residence for power tool manufacturer Porter-Cable, before becoming the home of Penfield Manufacturing Co. Subsequently, the building has been transitioned into affordable housing and retail space.
Window Specialist Inc. skillfully incorporated Marvin Ultimate Aluminum Clad Windows into the installation. The “House on the Roof” features Marvin Essential Fiberglass Windows, while storefront locations boast Marvin direct set windows. Additionally, the project includes six multi-unit openings with expansive round tops. In total, the endeavor comprises over 600 Marvin units, including windows, transoms, and doors.
