We are currently recruiting for an entry level CAD Drafter to join our team. Potential candidate MUST be proficient in the use of AutoCAD. In this role as a CAD Drafter, you will design shop drawings and cut sheets for the installation and fabrication of commercial curtain walls, storefronts, skylights, windows, sliding doors, panel systems and other similar products. Experience in this industry is a plus but not a requirement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Develop detailed and accurate design shop drawings


• Provide details on component descriptions


• Assess and resolve design problems


• Compute dimensions of materials


• Draft technical details


• Draw in minute details of all types of structures


• Submittal phase, submission of all types of products for approval in startup phase.


• This draftsperson will be involved with field measurements and layout


• The drafter will coordinate details with suppliers, architects and general contractors
